Chocolate Stains: How to remove from Children’s Clothes

Chocolate is a temptation for both young children and adults. We may find this sweet delight in different forms- chocolate spread, chocolate cookies, normal chocolate candies etc. Who has not grated at least one in his/her life with the spoon in the empty jar of chocolate? Not to mention the children, who usually eat the chocolate with all of their face. The proud mothers of these children are constantly looking for a way to remove the stubborn stains from the clothes, the carpet or the upholstery. In this article I would like to give you advice about how you can get rid of the chocolate stains once and for all.

The first thing you need to do is to be fast in your reaction. The sooner you take care of the chocolate stains, the better. Do not throw the clothes with the stains in the washing machine because the stain can not only remain, but it can also spread to the other clothes in the washing machine. So, think twice before you opt for the easiest way. If you want to get rid of the stain, treat the stain while it is still fresh. Scrape any pieces of chocolate which remain, but keep in mind that you need to be careful in doing this otherwise there is a chance of spreading the chocolate around and making the stain even bigger. If you want you can even put the garment with the stain in the fridge for a while, until the chocolate strengthen. It will be easier for you to remove the extra pieces of chocolate and avoid its spreading.
